Acharya Digital (acharyadigital.com) is an online learning platform run by 1729 Acharya Academy Pvt. Ltd., Baramati, Maharashtra. This policy explains what information we collect and how we use it.
1. Information we collect
When a student registers, we collect: student name, mobile number, class, board, school, village/city and area of interest (JEE/NEET). We also record basic usage such as lectures viewed and course progress.
2. Why we collect it
We use this information to create the student’s account, give access to free lectures and study material, help with login problems, track learning progress, and share information about Acharya Academy programmes that may help the student.
3. Students under 18
Most of them are school students. Registration requires confirmation that a parent or guardian has given permission. Parents may ask us at any time to view, correct or delete their child’s information.
4. Sharing
We do not sell personal information. It is used only by Acharya Academy and by service providers that help run the platform (website hosting and YouTube for video playback), only for the purposes above, or when required by law.
5. Videos
Lectures play through YouTube, which may collect data according to Google’s privacy policy.
6. Security
Accounts are protected by a password and the website uses a secure HTTPS connection. Please do not share your password with anyone.
